Most people that have an ACL tear are regular joes.  They'll return to their jobs making lattes or scanning groceries.  Any % loss of performance just means they jog to the mailbox a tad slower.

When you're an elite athlete, a loss of 2% or 5% of your explosiveness moves you from MVP to barely good enough to make an NBA squad.

kobe just went back to germany for more advanced blood work... my guess is he's going to go 'all out' ala Cutler 2013 Olympia... but he's going to be a good player, at best.  All the 'heart' and knowledge of the game and leadership won't matter against 22 year olds that can consistently beat him off the dribble.

He's one of the few athletes i believe when he says he doesn't use PEDs.... needs to get up on some hgh and a lot of it

The 2011 NBA MVP was taken to the locker room at the end of the third quarter, barely putting any weight on the injured leg.

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said Rose will have an MRI Saturday on his right knee in Los Angeles.

"He has pain, and he felt like he couldn't push off his right knee," Thibodeau said.

Rose tore the ACL in his left knee in April of 2012 and missed all of last season while recovering from reconstructive knee surgery.

The top pick in the 2008 draft, Rose was averaging 15.4 points this season.

I said the same thing, I will wait to the all star game to make my prediction on Rose, i thought taking a year off would of made him stronger, obviously not. Dont like his playing style. But the NBA is better with that kind of talent.
