Have any examples? Most of the vids I've seen of him he acts down to earth and all that other stuff. Of course during game time he puts on his game face.

Sure. One is his post Olympia interview where he spends a good deal of time addressing his "haters" and justifying and convincing his position as the top dog. It was one of the most insecure and childish interviews I've seen.

He could be a decent fella for all I know. But there's been more examples than the one I've posted that have soured me.

Well he's probably the only Mr O to ever really be involved in social media. And when you're on top social media attracts a lot of haters.

If anything it shows how down to earth and real he is.

Not even addressing social media bro. But yes he's done some cringeworthy things there.

Im Addressing his post O interview, just like every MR O for the past 5 decades has had.

I'm not a big "hater" either. I love bodybuilding. But you see a guy do jackass things enough times and he loses your respect as a fan.

Not even addressing social media bro.
But that's who he is addressing. Social media outlets matter in a niche industry heavily dependent on marketing.

So he's a bit sensitive with the haters. Not everyone can hang in The Thunderdome.  8) But that doesn't mean he has a bad personality or anything.

He actually gained a fan in me with the way he dealt with Kai at the Olympia. Totally took the highroad when Kai started pushing and let it been known to Kai and the fans that grapefruit boy was not on his level or worth fully addressing. Thats how it's done - Mr Olympia style 3x.  8)

Phil is a good guy to hang with. He has interests outside of bodybuilding and can hold a conversation with anyone.
He always has time for the average gym members when he is here and would do anything to help promote a show.
When I hang out with him the conversation has never been about chicken and rice or anything boring like that.

Phil is a car nut and always end up talking cars, old, new, tricked up, stock or just ridiculous. He studies up on anything horsepower and knows his stuff.

The problem is, you guys only see him on a video or or hear second hand that someone doesn't like him but I can tell you, I have never had a bad experience or seen a fan treated anything but respectfully.

Dude is 3 X Mr O and a ripper bloke, I think it is time for him to be getbig approved!

Whenever I've seen him here in Colorado he's as humble as can be.  In my opinion he's playing the role the bb community has given him.  I think he enjoys playing the anti-Kai role.

He's good for bodybuilding the same way Floyd is good for boxing.  Yet I've never seen him go out of his way to disrespect anybody.  Dude's a man, he has pride like anyone else.

He genuinely cares about the community here Colorado and in turn the community cares for him back.  We're proud to call Heath our own just like we're proud of our 2X Super Bowl Champion Broncos.  Soon to 3X-Just like Heath.

I feel that the great Chiro Flex has spoken for getbig.com on this matter, I shall be of one mind and spirit with him regarding his disdain of Philip Heath.

NO. He deserves no respect and WILL NEVER have my respect.
He is cocky, arrogant, not manly, and treats others like garbage.
He does not deserve any thing he has. While families are going to bed hungry and people are struggling paycheck to paycheck, hes buying new cars and taking photos of his money. He should be helping those who need it...but hes not...and he wont.
Hes insecure, fake, and just a bad representaion of the sport. The complete opposite of what a Mr. olympia should be.
His shoulders are narrow, and his body looks just like every other dude out there.
In my opinion, worst Mr. Olympia ever. Worst human being ever. Worst soul ever. They should take his Sandow away from him and kick him out of bodybuilding.

I like the way he acts. It seems getbig in general has a problem with people who are self confident and stick up for themselves.

I like that Olympia speech.  he basically told people to suck his dick and he's the champ.

Its funny but sports figures from other sports, the major sports such as baseball football and basketball tweet with their fans and engage in social media... But here we have bodybuilding, which is a much smaller sport in scale and market, and our champion is supposed to be above that.  ::)

But bodybuilding is far classier than football, basketball etc

"I felt that the champ was being a little disrespected..."
Coleman enjoyed all that pushing from Flex, Shawn, Cormier, Kevin, and Jay...

Back when Phil first came on the scene he posted here. We enjoyed his presence here, and Getbig supported him. When Phil stopped posting here, I believe it was due to his obligations to Flex/AMI/Weider, there became a disconnect with Getbig, plus he grew in popularity.

I respect Phil, is he Ronnie, Dorian or Jay? No he is not, he is Phil Heath, with his own attitude. G_Thang said it best, Phil Heath is Flex Wheeler with Jay as a guidance counselor...now, there is no guidance counselor...
Let the champ be The Champ.

If u think the broncos are winning the SB this year u are nuts!

No defense and don't give me that "champ bailey" excuse like all bronco fans
