4 reps for strength 20 reps for cuts. Concentration Curls for a peak like Arnold's. Anyone can do it.

If you have natural wider hips and waist, than you will probably have a blocker look. If you have a natural average, or better still for BBíng, narrower hip/waist structure than a larger rib box will be that more impressive. Giving  more support to getting that "V" shape to the upper body.   Actually the "X"shape, including the legs/lower body, still tends to be what most BBérs are after. A fuller rib box will not always suggest a blocky look. The chest/pec's & even lats will even look more impressive when build on the foundation of a full and deep rib box.

If doing pullovers (straight or bent armed) the full stretch is the more important part of the exercise. If stopping at near or above the point of being only lever with the head, than you are not reaping the full benefit if this exercise. A pullover is not the best pec movement, as the path of the weight would suggest.

As mentioned before, my favorite exercise is the bent arm pullover and press. With pressing off the chest at the end of each pullover, the triceps, delts and pec's are recruited that much more. Consider the pullover & press as a superior compound movements......a upperbody mass builder.

If you were born with the structure of a flatter bicep, than no amount of concentration curls will give you a peak like Arnolds. Or the impressive double display of a Boyer Coe. If born with a natural peak, than simple BB curls (for example) will bring this  out quite well. Muscle inserts will dominate your muscle structure.

If you have to do 20 rep training for cuts. may want to recheck your diet and workouts. 4 to 6 reps seems to influence strength and muscle size, for most people.  Good Luck.

LOLOLOL. bones stop growing long before that genius.

If you stretch the intercostals etc you can "expand" your ribcage, ie... greater rom for those muscles

Yeah, that's what I've always thought too, our bones stop growing once we reach our early twenties or sometimes even sooner. I was the tallest I have ever been when I was sixteen years old.

Couldn't you argue that Arnold had a large ribcage?

People who come from ancestors who lived at higher elevations tend to have larger ribcages and a greater lung capacity.

And you prove it by doing what? There is plenty of scientific references in the web, and it isn't my fault if you guys can't read, or doesn't comprehend what you read  ;D

Your logic is flawed. Successful swimmers are successful because of these physical traits, rather than the physical sceletal traits being results of training.

Everybody in swimming knows that if you are short, with small hands and feet and with short arms and legs, you can forget being a swimmer.

you were a good swimmer , you made it into the egg first, so what does that say about you?

Modified pullover I like:

On a standing cable tricep pushdown station, just do a pulloever motion using straight arms.  Works great.  You need to squat down a bit to get a full ROM though.

I hate these, never feel right to me.

But! I've figured out a modified version that simulates the real movement the best I think.

Take an incline bench, back it up to this cable machine. Then sit back on the incline, reach above and grab the straight bar and perform the movement as usual. Trust me you will never go back  :)

I will try these.

Over the years you need to find new movements to change it up.  Thanks for the new exercise!
