I finally watched "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"

I saw the first half of the movie a few years ago. I did not see the end.


I finally sat down and watched it from start to finish.

My God. This movie is great. Jim Carey is a friggin excellent actor. That dude can act. He can do drama like very few can. I have new found respect for him.

The movie is 9 years old so Im sure most of you have seen it. But if not, check it out. Its not a comedy, its a drama. It revealed Jim Carey's greatness to me.

i find myself watching movies like: No Country for Old Men, Heat, True Grit, Braveheart, Godfather 1&2

I tend to avoid Romantic Drama's. But "Eternal Sunshine" had a psycological element to it. It reminded me of a little bit of "The Butterfly Effect"

Anytime Godfather 1 or 2 is on I watch from wherever it is.  I love GF1, but there's something about GF2 I love more....it's the de niro stuff.   Everytime I'm watchin it the wife comes in the room, roll her eyes and says, "men......there goes 6 hours."
