I consider the “chance” meeting of Ed and I at the San Francisco NPC show, and our subsequent work together, to be a true blessing in my life.
He is a constant source of inspiration, wisdom and humor. He brings a lot of joy into my life.
When he and I met, I had been working on a lot of repetitive projects in my business. I was bored and I was losing “passion” for my work. Working on his website has gotten me excited about a creative project in a way that I haven't experienced in many years.
Ed was a childhood hero of mine and now he's becoming a friend in my adulthood. During the short time I've known him, He's demonstrated a persistent optimism, an unstoppable drive and an unshakable honesty and integrity. In short, as far as I can tell, people like Ed Corney are in short supply.
I keep adding new features to the site as time allows. In fact, I just received a new package from Ed of some of the most treasured behind the scenes snapshots that he's saved over the years. I've started to scan, restore and post some of these previously unpublished images already.
I also just added a guestbook page for people to leave messages for Ed. I know how much he enjoys hearing feedback on his website, his photos and most of all his long career.
If you have the time to quickly post something in his guestbook it would mean a lot to him. You can first look at the website at
http://www.edcorney.net and then follow one of the links to
http://www.edcorney.net/guests.html where you can leave your message for him.
