I'd prefer to live on a beach towel on the beach in the Caribbean then to live in the woods, just saying.

No joke, I'm actually considering getting a good sized block of rural land and camping out in the container while clearing the land, doing the earthworks, and building the barn.  I always wanted a big red barn.  Then build the house.  By the time I'm 80 I should have myself a pretty nice setup.

I guess there'd be a portashitter involved for a couple months.  :-X

Save money.  Steel on all sides.  Could be pretty sweet.

they were big in europe when i visited the uk.  and they are designed to be stacked on top of each other so structural issues. i read they were as little as 2-5k a contain.  if you have a metal work guy, you are good to go.

Why not just a tree house? Plenty of branches to do back workouts and be in nature like in Rocky.

Get a ax or chainsaw and chop trees for cooking while at the same time getting a good workout in.
Perhaps even selling the extra wood as firewood to a local grocery. Put it in potato sacks and give it a nice brand name.

17th thread this week about finding places to live to save money.

Thinking about moving back in with the parents.

Fridge is always full of free food. Laundry gets done twice a week. Girls can stay over until 10 on school nights, 12 on weekends. Would save a fortune.

Do it man. It's becoming increasingly common all across america. Before it was more of an ethic thing now white folk have joined the poverty club too.

Saturday mornings my mom always makes pancakes.  This is more temping to me than the free rent part.

This kid did it all through DUKE university grad school...But he did it with the hopes of getting a masters degree and eventually making enough money to live in a nice home...

Don't know what your motives are but it's a cheap way to live.

Good luck ever getting laid lol.

i have been blessed with a face that women can't say no to. Getting laid will not be an issue. Just play the away game.

Good article. Shows the idea has merit.

im thinking about hollowing out an old tree anf living in their.
surrounded by wood
Nice smell
Can always light on fire when cold
Can steal the nuts from my squirrel co-inhabitants
Dead tree limbs for lifting whenever I want, no clumsy at home gym required.

I think I could save some real money this way. ;D

A year, I think.

1 year in the woods isnt enough, unless on steroids.

Do you feel better at home relaxed, or at the gym looking swole like a seal.

When anabolichalo starts his funeral business, Kwon_2 and I plan to move in. Later, Musclecenter and BigCyp will also join us. It will be sweet. We will have our own weight room, fast internet, gaming consoles, and some thai ladies to do our house chores. In the gym we will have a huge poster on the wall saying:

"Very soon I will get the girls".

or you could find a mildly-hot sugar-momma.... I had a Mexican one once, whole house smelled like pancakes 24-7.. big house too, which her father bought for her. made good money as a hospital administrator... only bad part was her 4 kids. lol.... and her estranged husband who was either in prison or out of prison and allllll tweaked out, we never knew.
