Over 380 detained after anti-migrant riot in southern Moscow

Moscow police said they detained some 380 people during the mass rioting in a southern district of the city. A mixed crowd of nationalists and locals attacked a warehouse run by natives of the Caucasus, blaming a migrant for the fatal stabbing of a local.

Moscow police said they were putting into effect an emergency plan, codenamed “Volcano,” involving sending scores of riot police to the scene of the clashes, and placing the police officers across the city on high alert.

A crowd of people on Sunday broke into a vegetable warehouse in the southern district of Biryulyovo, hurling rocks, smashing up stalls and vending machines. While the police estimated the crowd at about 350 people, witnesses at the scene suggested the number of rioters could be as many as 1,000.

Some of the most aggressive participants of the unrest clashed with riot police and attempted to block the street after several people were detained and forced into police vans.

Riot police, who were about 200 strong at the time, failed to block part of the crowd from rushing in the direction of the warehouse.

The violent scenes came after a similar rampage took place at a nearby shopping center, where the rioters had originally gathered. The outraged crowd demanded that the police find the killer of a 25-year-old Russian, who was stabbed to death on Thursday allegedly by a man from the Caucasus or Central Asia.

The locals also lashed at the the authorities, accusing them of covering the wave of migrant crime and the illegal immigration in the area.

Reports said that the police did not interfere while a crowd of rioters looted the warehouse and the mall, but later started to arrest those who remained on the scene. RT’s Lucy Kafanov reported that the situation in the district was largely settled by nightfall.

Immigrant commits a crime or doesn't have a job after a certain amount of time, they go back home.   Accept no more refugees or only except a certain kind of refugee. Each immigrant as a condition of immigration is required to enroll in a two year assimilation program.  At the end of the program they will be evaluated. They refuse the program they are out.  They fail they are out.

I don't know about Russia, they're kind of like the US in that they have several ethnicities because their country is so big.

GREAT news! Best way part is the front national is very hostile to Jews, not in public of course, well not in public anymore. Just like is the USA the Jewish community always has pushed the hardest for pro-immigration and pro-feminism policies.

it's waaay, too late. 90 % of youth is muslim in france and most countries of europe. They re doomed whatever what they do. A last wake up call wont do shit. It's all about births. Same will probably happen in north america, anyway. Also the far right front national of france is a joke; they dont want nor can sustain being in power. They re dead but they still dont know it. Give it 20 years and muslims will represent slightly more than half of the population and in power politically and spiritually. When you dont have kids and import tons of immigrants, that's what happen.

Yes, Vienna sucks enormously - at least when it comes to the majority of districts.
On the other hand most of Austria's unwanted are concentrated in the largest city, so you know where not to go when things get sour.
