Dumocrats changing their stance to ensure shutdown
« on: October 14, 2013, 06:37:27 AM »
So we constantly hear from the democrats and even from libtards on this board that it is stupid for the GOP to try to get rid of Obamacare during budget talks. Why? "Because it's the law". "Oh, you can't change that law". "It is stupid to change it now".

Yet, sequestration is law, YET THEY WANT TO GET RID OF IT AND RETURN TO THE SPENDING LEVELS THAT EXISTED BEFORE IT TOOK EFFECT. So how come Obamacrapcare is the law that can't be change or repealed, but sequestration is?

The GOP has sent 14 proposals yet the Dems refuse to agree to any of them because they want pre-sequestration levels of spending. They want no limits, no restrictions to spending. They want a blank check.

Sen. Rand Paul said Sunday "the one thing" he could not accept as part of a deal to end the government shutdown is an increase in the sequestration caps.

"It's funny," the Kentucky Republican said of Democrats. "They're all about Obamacare being the law of the land, but so's the sequester. If we exceed that, it's real big step in the wrong direction."

"I can't imagine you're going to get Senate Republicans to vote for something that exceeds the sequester caps," he said on CNN's "State of the Union." I think it's a huge mistake for the country." The No. 1 concern for the country is its debt, he said.

The republickers would not play nice so they shut down the gov budget.

That's history.

No amount of impotent rightwing whining is going to change that.

I swear to god you Nazis are the biggest pusses I've ever encountered.

You're not even men enough to own up to what your party did to this country.  You drop your virile budgetary load and then blame Obama for your feeble attempt to commandeer the gov.

Grow a pair and get some heart you losers.

Rand Paul.....hahahahah, he appeals to undereducated intellectual lightweights.  So he's no help.

To save time, here's the new Nazi responses from the resident impotent right wingers on GB:

GTFO

Nobama is a commie and so are libtards.

Dario and the other stars in the Nazi intellectual firmament are now poring over those responses above.  Clearing them with Real Clear Politicis to see if they are in  fact what they should be thinking as their own cherished positions.

If Repubs want to hold the country hostage and insist on a negotiation to literally do their job then Dems should have demands too.

Seriosly, Repubs insist they need to "get something" out of this situation they they created but by insisting on a negotiation they are basically forcing the Dems to add some demands to their side of the bargain.   You can't negotiate if only one is bargaining.

That's of course if you actually believe this is a negotiation and not just a hostage taking situation

The way I see it the Repubs don't like the way the government works.  They couldn't stop the legislation from passing, they lost their Supreme Court challenge and then they lost a national election.   It's over.  They lost so all that is left for them now is terrorism.   They lost at every turn of the political process so this is all they have left

They should have just admitted they were hostage takers rather than pretend they were asking for a give and take negotiation

Their bargaining chip in a negotiation can't be "give us what we want and we'll do our job"

No, if this is true negotiation and they want something then they have to give something in return

Meanwhile, the sequester was repealed 41 times, at least attempted, upheld and constitutional and run on twice the by president. The sequester was also purposely built into the debt ceiling agreement in order to entice a budget and to resume debate. It was temporary and was a stupid way to institute spending cuts.

Meanwhile, by having this thread you condone the tactics of changing rules to ensure only Eric Cantor can stop the fucking shutdown. Listen to this explanation

http://c-spanvideo.org/clip/4468570

He shut it down in order to force a discussion. AKA,we are making everyone suffer because we want something, clearly they will do whatever it takes.

It's like reality has no bearing on their decisions. LANDSLIDE coming...

Fake scandal after scandal. The polls are absolutely horrible and they will lose the house.
