there's piratebay for the series I watch.

and the news and "politics" are all bullshit anyways and I watch it on the internet when I feel like it anyways.

Sports I don't watch because it's pretty dumb. only Watch some motorsports and UFC which I can watch on the internet anyways.

so yeah "unplugged"
You can also go to your local public library, rent dvds and blu rays for like 1.50 buck and rip them on your hard drive then burn them at home with free software.... I do that when i cant find a good enough version of a movie online.

If uberman is a Christian it's a good thing, it means he can infect other theists with his mind viruses and Christianity will move one step closer to extinction.

Nature abhors a vacuum, and what goes in it?  Islam.  Is that what you really want?

I don't really see the point in collecting big movie libraries. Used to do it too but then I found I never watched a movie twice anyways so it's a waste of time and effort. Except some really good feel-good comedies. So I just download the torrent one month after release and watch it in hd or blueray.

Pay Xfinity around $265 a month for internet, cable and phone. We have the platinum package, which is overkill.

Having an hd antenna installed later this week on my house, already running a few Rokus and will cut Directv immediately after antenna is installed.

Why?  I've already have Grande Communications cable, Time Warner cable, AT&T UVerse cable and Directv satellite cable....tired of the expense.  Cable and smartphones (for personal use) are pure luxury items and I don't need it anymore.  Some folks are paying 5k a year for cable, internet and smartphones.

That and I'm an alpha maverick.

Is AT&T U-verse available in Arizona? If so it's the best deal! Internet service all phone service and Digital cable about 500 channels plus most premium HBO Showtime etc! All for about $135 a month!

The platinum.cable package is the bulk of this. Platimun includes all premium chanels. Phone and highspeed internet combined are probably a little over $100. We have two phone lines.

I have to be honest, the older I get... I look at this DirecTV bill for $165 and I'm like what the fuck am I paying this kind of money for, to watch television.

I am seriously, seriously thinking about getting a good high and antenna, and whatever I really want to watch just download it like everyone else. And fuck paying these prices. I'm of the opinion that with these DVR's and all this shit, people watched too much goddamn TV anyway.
My dad did this. And I don't have cable. When I did, all I watched was ESPN, Nat Geo, Discovery, and History Channel...all of which I can watch online.
And now since I don't have cable---I barely watch anything except football games, and that's it. Everything else is online.
It's useless to me to have cable/DirecTV, because the more channels you have, the less you watch.

You guys can claim victory all you want, but you are still getting raped somehow. Internet access? Rape. Cell phone? Rape.

Mass media will always find a way to unzip them pants.

I got rid of mine awhile ago. I went from 159 a month to 39 for just internet. I put an extra 100 into my retirement which comes to 42,000 by the time I'm 65 in just principle.

Netflix has every good tv show anyways.
