People who drive nice cars are idoits?
People who spend a disproportionate amount of their incomes on expensive cars to appear more successful than they are would, in fact, be correctly called "idiots". Hope this helps.

Yes it is. Ronnie makes good money, but not good enough he should blow that much on a car. Given that his income will all go away in a few years when he retires, he should have put that $250k into investments.

Buying a new car is crazy...
Leasing a new car is crazier...
Paying cash for a 2-3 year old quality vehicle for 30-40% less than it cost new is smart...

Being a CEO does not necessarily mean that you make a lot of money. Everyone on this board could create a corporation and make themselves the respective CEOs.

People who drive nice cars are idiots? Working-class people (and we are the vast majority in the U.S.) who choose to spend money on nice cars at the expense of building wealth are idiots, yes. If you've already "taken care of business" as it were, then by all means indulge yourself, but don't waste money on things that depreciate (clothing, cars, etc).

Why would a guy like Ronnie drive a $250,000 Bentley?
A $250,000 home investment would be worth $500,000 in five years.
That $250,000 Bentley will be worth $100,000.
Unless being seen driving around in that car is making him money, I agree it's a stupid purchase.
Chances are, Ronnie will sell it when his days are done. See Mike Tyson for examples of idiotic spending.

Once again - please reread my post. He is a CEO of a respected company. He isn't a CEO of a fan club. Being a CEO does not necessarily mean that you make a lot of money. Everyone on this board could create a corporation and make themselves the respective CEOs.

Why would a guy like Ronnie drive a $250,000 Bentley? I think ROnnie knows the chances of him reaching 60 are unlikely.
