its what they do, they bought some of our CNC machining centers and were trying to copy them last time we had a tech over servicing them... However our flexible conversational software is where a lot of our speciliaty lies so they werent going to get far just copying the machine itself. Im sure its not hard to copy the software, but since the machine itself only houses a small part of the software, they dont have access to much of the actual stuff... just the interface.

hell my company is a small privatley owned american mfg company with a specific focus and the chinese  are trying to copy our shit.... its so out of control now how the fuck are we going to reverse it when no one here gives a shit?

Our owner is actually worried that a cheap knockoff of our products will start sbowing up globally as 2/3rds of our sales are international.

I truly think 90% of these huge corporatations see themselves above the country concept... the world is their mfg base and the countries are seen as their consumers. They go wherever they can make their product cheapest and sell it wherever they can for the highest margin.

for quite a while they, (major corporations) have had a bigger say with what happens in government than the people have.  That's an absolute fact.  They've gotten their way and that way has led to a lot of the crap we see happening today.  Do to this, we've pretty much built up our own enemies like China... big time as Cheney would say.
