http://kulturistika.ronnie.cz/c-16676-michal-mensik-o-svem-navratu-na-profesionalni-podium.htmlHello,
Greetings Michal Menšík. It's been a while since we last communicated with, but I am writing to you on my return to the professional scene in memory of my dad.
Many unpleasant events happened since 2008, when I last raced at the Europa Supershow in Dallas, Texas. That year I went through a divorce with his wife, which explains the change of surname. I used to here in the U.S., raced under the name Michal Kindred, but after a divorce with his wife, I took back my original name that I have always had - Michal Menšík.
In preparation for the races on the Europa Supershow in Dallas with my health condition with Crohn's disease (Crohn's disease) greatly deteriorated. I struggle with this incurable disease since 2005, when I was diagnosed with it, and Crohn's disease with bodybuilding unfortunately does not go well together. I was devastated thinking that I'll have to end up with bodybuilding.
Bodybuilding is and has been my life since birth because my father Vladimír Menšík was a bodybuilder himself, owned a small gym in Bystrice where in the seventies founded the first bodybuilding division and coached many wards to the republican scale. Since my childhood I went with him to the gym and I watched how he trains, and since my childhood I knew that I will be a bodybuilder, when I grow up. My dad was my first coach and trainer, but most of all he was my biggest fan and support, of course, along with my mom and brother Vladimir Jarmilou.
Under the leadership of Richard Cada , who took me as a trainer and coach in my seventeen years, I was drawn to the junior national champion and vice-champion of the world. Richard is my long time friend, but most importantly - has always been my idol.
In 2008, after the races in Dallas at the Europa Supershow I had to accept the fact that bodybuilding is for me for health reasons in the extremities. For those who do not know what Crohn's disease is a disease of the gastrointestinal tract, where internal bleeding, your white blood cells attack your digestive tract. It is basically an autoimmune disease. I often asked myself, why me, because in twenty years I have been through paralysis, when I had a broken spine in three places, and his strong-willed myself out of it again after six years with the help of trainer Richard Cady received and returned the racing bodybuilding scene. Now turn incurable Crohn's disease.
My mom and dad Vladimir Jarmila were devastated by events that I met and eventually end and my bodybuilding career. Last year (2012) I was in the Czech Republic visiting his parents in Bystrice and I had the opportunity to go with my dad for a coffee and a povykládat. When she arrived discussion on the topic of bodybuilding and my professional career, for the first time in my life I saw my dad cry. At that moment I burst into tears and hugged my dad and told him: "Dad, do not worry, I have one on the professional stage, you'll see. I come back, I want you to be proud. disease I'll beat you!" Unfortunately, I Last year in August my dad died. It was for me the most difficult moment of my life. My father was a man I love and appreciate him. He was the best dad that I could wish, and I am sorry that the promise I gave him no longer met.
After the funeral, the Czech Republic, I went back to the USA. I confided in about my promise to my father friend and professional bodybuilder Bleu Taylor, Bleu when I said, "Michael, I'll help you return to the professional stage to realize, because you can do it and I believe in you." I want to thank him, because he is my momentary trainer and coach in preparation for EVL's Prague for 2013. Specifically, we chose competition in Prague for several reasons. First of all - what better competition in honor of my dad than just EVL's Prague Pro. Secondly, it will be nineteen years since I raced in Czech last stage, which is a nice return, and it's been five years since I fought with Crohn's disease, before I finally broke. With the help of a coach Bleu Taylor will again be able to return to the bodybuilding scene. Currently represent Team Championship, which I would also like to thank.
I also thank all the following people who helped me in preparing for EVL's Prague for 2013. They are my workouts partners Marcus Johnson and Cobbie Wyatt, girlfriend Kristine Murphy Adami, Jarmila my mom and brother Vladimir with his family, Mike Moody, Mike Lawrence, Robert Burns, Mark Parker, MD. Phillip Cole, a professional bodybuilder Nathan DeTracy, William Gamble, Brenda Wood, Omar Nur and Daniel Popovský, former Czech representative. These people sincerely thank you for all their help and friendship and support of my return to honor my father Vladimir Mensik.
Thank you to all the fans in the Czech Republic and abroad, internet newsletter Ronnie.cz and Peter Pike of EVL's Prague for your support and for the publication of my story. All of you who have come to the races in Prague, look, come to meet. I love you all know.
