Authorities say Ronald and Alana Russo were pummeled by attackers — ranging in age from 12 to 18 — who showered them with racial slurs. One Brooklyn teen says he was falsely arrested because he was wearing the same outfit as one of the assailants.

An intersection near Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Brooklyn became the scene of a brutal attack by a group of black youths against a white couple driving through, authorities say.

 A group of 10 black youths — one of them a 12-year-old girl — surrounded a white couple's car in Brooklyn, viciously beating the husband and yanking the wife to the pavement by her hair as they peppered the two with racial slurs, authorities said.

“Get those crackers!” some of them screamed, according to court papers. “Get that white whore!”

The confrontation erupted about 7 p.m. Monday, as the marauding group crossed Avenue U at E. 58th St. near Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Mill Basin.

Ronald Russo, 30, and his wife, Alanna, apparently had the green light and the husband honked at the group to get out of the way. The rowdy kids started kicking the car, according to the criminal complaint. Ronald Russo got out to check on potential damage to his vehicle.

And that’s when all hell broke loose.

Ronald Russo was dragged to the ground. Then he was punched and kicked in the head. He felt more blows all over his body, investigators said. He suffered a fractured nose, a broken septum, a blood clot and abrasions to his shoulder. He was treated and released from Beth Israel Medical Center.

In the midst of the attack, there was a steady chorus of epithets. “White motherf-----!” screamed the attackers, who ranged in age from 12 to 18.

truth.  I don't care if a person is yelling racist slurs at me, making fun of my thinning temples, or dissing my shoes.  If he/she/they present a deadly threat, I will legally use force to defend myself.  If not, they are free to go about my day.  I may return some insults, I may not, really depends on the circumstances. 

I don't get all worked up over whether or not these a-holes beat someone up because of their skin color, because they were hungry, or because they didn't like the Packers sticker (or whatever) on their car.  A crime is a crime.  The only thing we do by focusing upon the motivation is widening gaps between people that should be working together. 

What's that mean?  It means white and black people should STOP arguing about racial motivation here, and UNITE on the right to carry concealed weapon.  Every discussion about "it's all about race, race riots are coming, oh my, let's freak out" is a discussion we're NOT having about gun permits.

So props for your response, tony.  I hope everyone is more concerned with self defense rights than the motivations of criminals.

How you feel about being called a racist name is irrelevant to whether this incident is a hate crime.   It's is important to focus on race.  A large segment of the black population has convinced themselves that they are the only victims of racially motivated attacks when in fact 90% of interracial crime is committed by blacks and white on black crime is infrequent.

They act on this false premise to intimidate,abuse and manipulate the political system.   The habitual abuse and misrepresentation of the facts is one of the reasons the gun control laws are so strict in Chicago yet murder is rampant.

I live in LA so yeah but it's not as congested as Brooklyn. I'd need to see a vid to make judgment in this case but I to tend side with the white folks - it's a statistical gamble thats mostly right. Still, could have been an asshole driver needing a beating. If thats the case its a win-win, asshole gets put in place, ghetto trash goes to jail. Win-win, yes? Maybe.

I was going to post a rant about how fucked up this is, but then realized there is no point.  These types of incidents have been on the rise for a while now and are a symptom of the true underlying disease.  Race baiting is a highly profitable and powerful weapon (think Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Obummer, and other assorted neegars).  It is all by design to weaken the fundamental bonds of a society.  Every time one of these stories pops up,  I think what the reaction would be if the races were reversed.  You know damn fucking well the aforementioned race baiters and headline news would have a field day with it!  Whitey has been weakened and neutered by generations of liberalism and full blown brainwashing via the public education system.  He has forgotten that he conquered and ruled the world.  All kids are taught in school is how evil the white man is, not the greatness of the Caucasian race.   As far as having a concealed pistol and shooting the neegars in NY state?  The white guy would be facing murder charges right now if he had done that.  Does not matter that he was attacked.  All that would be taken into account is race.  Once again all by design.  It is a classic tried and tested technique.  Divide and conquer.  We are a doomed nation.

I have a real easy and fun solution for the annoying urban walk-across-the-street-as-slowly-as-possible when they're in the crosswalk and you're driving, especially if you haven't yet come to a complete stop; Just speed toward them and act like you don't see them because you're looking down while fucking with something in your glovebox.  I've made many of these guys totally drop their cool facade while they broke landspeed records jumping out of my way as I look up and give them a big smile and a wave.
