No, not really...long term no...because beyond the looks, there has to be something underneath that, something "more". Besides, that type of relationship-- (hot, not smart/smart) only incites contempt and one's ego.

I've never done the online hook up thing but I've always thought it would be even harder than irl. There's a ton of guys out there you gotta compete with and its very impersonal. Irl you have a better interaction with a female and sense instant attraction/chemistry whereas online all you're going by is pics which is not always true representation of what people look like. And there is no connection to that person, meaning you don't run into them in your normal everyday daily activities which a lot of girls need to have in order to be feel comfortable when hooking up with someone.

Depends on what their response is. If they seem upbeat and enthusiastic, and excited to talk to you, then yes. In many cases, they will just give brief answers without even asking questions in return. In that case, they aren't worth the effort because nothing will happen. They are on the site for ego flattery and nothing more. Or they think they will find that 1 mr perfect they have dreamt of since they were a little girl.

I also happen to be pretty picky and won't settle for an average looking girl on there. It isn't that easy to get them in person in the right environment. Each girl has their own set of rules and you really have to play their game at the beginning if you want to get anywhere with them. It is a numbers game, like you said. But once you get them in person, it's all up to you.
