Why do the majority of mods rarely post?

Calm down guys    Do you guys want to know the real truth? I want to be a mod to have access to the mods only board. I want to see what mods really think about certain posters. I also have a thing where I don't like to miss out on things.

I also might have to repay 2,000 bucks if I don't become a mod soon.

Why does this always end up about me anyway?  I made this thread because I thought the mods should post more. It is only my opinion.

Be it pre-mod or post-mod my average daily posts have remained at about 4 a day for the last 9.5 years on this site and I got about 13K of them LOL.

Great point, exactly what I am talking about. Grant got hammered for doing that. Onemorerep got tons of flak when he became mod. I guess it comes with the territory.

I can respect a free-talking, honest mod.

If they want to talk shit, or have a strong opinion, they should be allowed.

Here's an idea: instead of posting every thought that comes to mind, stop and compare the marginal utility of said hypothetical post with, say, taking a calm walk, cracking open a literary classic, or meditating for 10-15 minutes.
