Did Dwight have his left ACL (MCL, LCL, etc) torn? Looks like surgery scar.

November 13th, 2008|By Brian Schmitz, Sentinel Staff Writer

Magic all-star center Dwight Howard, who has sat out at least two practices this season as a precaution, said Wednesday that he has been dealing with a swollen left knee off and on since he was 15.

"I've had this, some swelling, ever since I broke my leg when I was 15," said Howard, who sustained the broken leg playing basketball. "I got a couple of screws in there [in the leg] and sometimes my knee gets sore. I'm OK. I've been dealing with it for a long time. So sometimes they want me to sit out a practice or a shootaround, but I'm fine."

Lakers did not beat the Clippers last year.

Now, the season started with the Lakers blowing out the Clippers with out kobe.
