groans like a dying hog
ROTFLMAO.
Ehng, ehng, ehng ... as someone once noted of Paco and Kymoto (that Japanese chap that posts here intermittently; I can't remember his handle), the noise they made while training sounded to one Getbigger as "a bunch of people filming a male bondage video" -- or, at least, words to that effect, LOL.
I don't "get" the fascination with Glass either. When he was "training" Flex Wheeler in a video leading up to the '93 Olympia -- you know, the one where he made some stupid reference to "knocking doors over" -- all Charlie did was say, "Contrack! Contrack!" while Flex was doing a sloppy set, paying no mind to the instruction and quitting well short of positive failure.
Even Yates made fun of Glass, if indirectly. He mentioned how he'd seen someone with super big arms and delts but no back (cough, PAUL DILLET) train with Mr. Glass Guru Man, and when they tried to train Paul's back, Glass didn't help him for shit.
If anything, apart from Gunter peaking in 2002, ALL of Glass' pros actually REGRESSED the longer they spent with him. Flex was at his tip-top peak at the 1992 USAs and in the pro circuit in early '93. He was still outstanding at the Olympia that year, but he never regained that luster. Dillet was better in '93 than he was in '94, and he was lucky to go on to beat the people he did in the '99 Night of Champions (or was that 2000? Ah, who cares).
I remember bringing this very same topic up on Chad Nichols' board about this time ten years ago

Needless to say, they wanted to run me out of town with bullshit arguments, mostly appeals to popularity. Even some of the man's former clients, including a couple of he-shes who probably have a bigger flaccid dick than I, chimed in to read me the riot act.
Shakespeare was before his time when, in Hamlet, the character Queen Gertrude "said," "The lady, she doth protest too much, methinks."
What I said threatened those near hermaphros and other morons, so they responded just as you'd expect they might: all screechy, over-the-top and hysterical

Ironically, I don't think Chadwick's board even exists anymore (?).
