Pretty accurate assessment , when lee lived in Austin awhile back I used to see him in north Austin golds , I was going to school at Texas. He's a nice guy, very shy, but seems something was off... I don't know him personally but I wouldn't put it past what you posted as to why he is the way he is. After all it's bbing

The odd thing is he has to know he is ruining his physique with all the ink.. It's just a blur.. And it's the physique that made him famous that he is ruining.. Self sabotage to the inth degree.. He reads what many are saying yet goes right out and does even more.. Just plain odd..

I am a fan of tattoos and have spent a lot of money on really good known artist to do the work..but this shit lee gets is just horrible...saying it looks like a bag of smashed assholes is being nice

If your going to get a permanent mark on you at least make it art and not some ghetto trash nightmare..

Gotta agree with this. There is some beautiful art out there in terms of tattoos.

I always thought Lee had a great physique - I can understand the tattoos if he's retiring, but it seems he's still competing - and that's not so easy to understand.

And he his new Superman is a bit scrawny for Superman....

Lee seems pretty normal when you listen to him but one thing is for absolute sure - he has absolutely no idea what the fuck he's doing when it comes to looking at art.

Sadly, this fact is now conveniently buried under a deluge of random hate he gets that dilutes the only real issue with what he's doing.

I really can't believe how he can't see that he work he is getting done isn't up to scratch. Are people who get tribal tattoos (and default back to it far too often) oblivious to this?

I suppose the one thing in favour of what he is doing is that it would cost several times more to get a better tattoo $:-\$

If he knows they are not the best tattoos, fair enough. I would love to hear his opinion on this. If he says, "yes I know they are not the best - fucking mind your own business", then fine. If he thinks that what he is getting is a work of art - that's different.

In my opinion, this is the best work he has. It's nothing amazing but done okay - the line work is fine and the shading is decent.

Horrible.. the ribbons don't line up realistically the entire way down the cross.. it's really drawn by someone with little to no drawing skills.
