Pro tip, if I take ephedrine and caffiene during the day and night and drink heavily in the night, I don't get a hangover, same with most people I know who do the same.
In my experience, when on stimulants and hormones it's even worse

If I ger drunk I have a terrible hangover and anxiety and will not do anything the next day. I cannot understand how some manage to even train after such debauchery.

If I drink a large amount of alcohol I have the same reaction. Thankfully I don't do it very often, if at all.

When i go to party i normally bring a pillow, a jug of water and protein shake, i drink my protein and water and every 30 mins i take a 15 min nap by the lounge chairs, not only do i have a great time but i feel fresh the next day.

Best way to beat it is train. Hard to get it together and do, but that is how you overcome it quick

how old are you?

damn Coach,  you don't wanna hear how I spend 3 or 4 nights a week if his post disgusts you!!

the biggest thing is stay away from acetaminophen;   it destroys more livers than all drugs combined.

As many pints of water as you can manage before bed helps (a bit)

I think the red solo cup may have thrown me off.

Do you use an aeroter?  Vacuum seal the rest, or is it a bottle a night>

I get the menage a trois... it's $30 a bottle if you buy it at Bonefish Grill, but it's $8 a bottle if you get it at the BJs wholesale store.  So I'll have two big glasses from that, and usually drink the rest the following night, or just end up wasting it.

now that i"m not drinking, it does feel weird walking past it in stores and not getting any.  I mean, the feeeling of being buzzed for 2 hours is a GOOOOD feeling.  I miss it.  But that shit does age you... I've had a half dozen people tell me "You look younger" lately as I get everything right.

Yeah, you kind of have to put yourself in the mindset of the next morning the night before.  Although I don't get hungover, I feel 10x better when I get up after 3 days without booze.

I get how you can miss it at night though.

I get drinks sent up all the time (they buy the band a round of shots, or bartender asks us what we want... usually we'll just tack on a $8 shot to ring the most registers)...   Sometimes I'll take a baby sip to show appreciation.  Sipped some tequila recently, tasted like jet fuel.  Props to anyone with the constitution to chug that shit all the time haha.

Wine... I just take one sip and the entire mindset comes in... I can turn off work (which I never do!), grin and just exhale, after one sip.

I can see how some dudes can come home from a long day of construction or writing tickets or whatever, and drink a cold beer in the shower haha.

Training as a natural and getting drunk every weekend is like taking one step forward and one step back, hard to make progress. The hangovers screw up the training and diet.

I have to assume it's only the finest box of merlot....

straight from the nipple of afrodite.

partying destroys you over time. kills braincells, wrecks liver, interrupts motor skills, coordination, energy, makes your face puffy and saggy over time and you look older. this is from consistency though.

coke really brings out the worst in people too, makes you edgy and impatient days after use and also destroys your spirit.  stay away.

Identical to my Sat evening, minus the wine, gin instead. What a night...still managed to train on Monday with close to the normal amount of weight but it was a battle.

A hard drinking parting life style will definitely hurt your bodybuiding and I think that goes without saying.

1.It's hard on the liver. If you compromise the function of this organ you will have little energy.

2. It's a lot of calories. Drink 8 beers at 150 calories each then know that hunger at 2 AM as you swallow burgers, fries, and other food.

3. It really dehydrates you and also causes a loss of electrolytes. Any one who runs for fitness can tell you that running the day after drinking really kills endurance.

4. It reduces testosterone and also increases the aromatase conversion of testosterone to estrogen. How many heavy drinkers develop boobs and beer guts having that soft look.

I am typing this with with a major hang over from my over night trip to the casino.  ;D

in my early to mid 20's, I went clubbing every weekend and ate X like tictacs. I couldnt even guess how many I have taken in my lifetime. That was 10yrs ago and I dont see any adverse affects at this point. I dont drink and never really have.Smoke weed 3-4x a week and think it's harmless, contrary to what Jonah Falcone says. If you let weed fuck you up, you have some mayor underlying issues to begin with

a friend i grew up with along with his family discovered he was an explosive sadist and doctors believed weed brought this character trait out in him.

Those were the days. In the shower, ice cold beer in one hand, joint in the other. Bygone days though, now it's just a beer.
