FORMER NFL PLAYERS TO FACE OFF IN KOTC

Former NFL players Micheal Westbrook and Jarrod Bunch will face each other in their MMA debuts on the KOTC card on February 25th in Ohio.

Westbrook used to be a starting wide reciever for the Washington Redskins, but is best known for a practice field incident, in which he punched out teammate Stephen Davis.

Westbrook has been training for MMA since he retired from the NFL, and is currently a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and will compete at a weight of around 230 pounds. He recently participated in the PRIDE try-outs, and will most likely be offered a PRIDE contract in the near future.

Bunch was a 6'2 250 pound starting fullback for the New York Giants for a few years in the early 90's. He is an Ohio native, and it is not known what the extent of his MMA training has been.

Anyone remember when Westbrook beat Stephen Davis to the damn dirt his rookie year?

i remember that they were all standing around and it looked like Westbrooke just punched him for no reason, Davis didn't do anything back, it was when they were with the Redskins, i remember seeing it on ESPN.

Chuck Zito was a professional boxer and a black belt in Karate. He weighs at least 40-50 pounds more than Van Damme. I don't know what Van Damme's true skills are but anyone can get knocked out. Who knows how many drinks he had in him. Zito has been known for one punching a lot of people in bars. He could be a sucker punch guy. That's not hard to do when you're punching drunk guys.

In defence of Zito, I don't know what led to him knocking out Van Damme. I know back in college I knocked a guy out in a club and all I heard back at school is how cruel I was. The guy shoved me twice and then blew me a kiss. I guess they didn't see that. No it wasn't that type of bar.

Chuck Zito was the head ot the Hells Angels in New York City. He is not one to be fucked with and Van Damme learned that the hard way.

I had an office at Cannon Films. I met allot of people. Jean Claude had not yet started shooting Bloodsport his first film. No One knew who he was. They only thing was he was good looking and had an accent and EVERY girl wanted to meet him. Please don't challenge my knowledge of knowing the people I say I do cause I can prove 99% of it with pictures and stories that can easily be validated by asking the person or someone who knows. If I don't have pictures it's because I never carried one. Most of the pics are taken by others who send me a copy. As for Jean Claude I never felt like a picture with him cause he was just a friend. By the time we met I had already won the Nationals and the American Cup. But, I was a nobody too. I had several commercials under my belt too but still a no one. I LA it takes allot to stick out since everyone is an actor it seemed.

i remember a few years back maybe 97 or so when he was at scores in NYC. He was being a rowdy cocky prick and grabbing asses. One of the bouncers asked him to keep it down. He was good for about a minute and then started getting loud about yadda yadda im van damme, that dumb bouncer needs to shut his mouth....so Chuck Zito was the head bouncer there at the time and went over there to say something to him. Jean claude got up in his face and Zito knocked his ass out in one punch. What a clown.

Bloodsport was his first starring role, anyone remember No retreat No surrender? Chuck Zito was his minder for a while apparently. JCVD knew all about him and the Hells Angels, and made a remark about him having no heart or courage. So as the confrontation blew up Chuck landed a few good punches as JCVD got ready to fight. Maybe he was right afterall, a real man would have a square go

I met zito at a Bike convention a few years back. For an old man, he is still pretty goddamn hard. I shook his hand and it felt like he has spent half his life crushing stones with his bare hands. I wouldnt fuck with him.

Trouble started when Van Damme walked into Score's with Rourke. Zito walked over to the table to shoot the breeze with his former bosses.

When Zito and Rourke turned their back on Van Damme, the Street Fighter star reputedly started dissing Zito.

"He was saying, 'Chuck Zito doesn't have any heart,'" Zito tells the newspaper. "There are people who will take that kind of abuse. I am not one of them."

So, Zito asked Van Damme to step outside. The way Zito puts it in the Daily News, the so-called Muscles from Brussels took off his glasses and was "gearing up to come at me."

"I just didn't give him a chance," Zito says.

No, he didn't. Zito floored Mr. Hard Target with a one-two suckerpunch combo.

Rourke played peacemaker: "If I weren't there, Chuck would have killed him," the actor tells the Daily News.

Van Damme left the club under his own power, reportedly signing autographs on the way out.

I'll jump in and defend JCVD. At Gold's Venice he was always very cool. He would stop by the front desk and hang out and just talk trash. When he was training, he was approachable and had no problems taking a quick photo or signing something for a fan/tourist. He would also grab the check for lunch at the Firehouse (that was cool!). He did some promo stuff for us (Gold's Venice) and didn't ask for anything (we gave him a ton of Gold's clothing and he was always appreciative).

As far as getting dropped by CZ; who hasn't been down at least once? Just so long as you get back up.
