Brother Falcon, is it not hypocritical to chastise Ex Coelis for his ignorance?

heme-iron isn't your enemy, Johnny - wheat and gluten are

it seems like a waste to live in the Carolina's and refuse to eat a rack of ribs

next time I fly down to Fort Bragg for a "business trip" we should grab some BBQ

everything's good to go, brother - thanks for the concern

I was vegetarian too for a couple years plus off and on vegan (when I was too cheap to buy cheese) - I know all the "science" behind it

but then I learned about the effects of wheat and soy on my body and went paleo

lots of meat, vegetables, fruits and nuts - no grains or legumes

these days I look and feel better than ever - the proof is in the pudding, Johnny  ;)

There's these ribs called called country style ribs that are all meat...lots of meat. They go on sale here in LA for a dollar a pound. Put those bad boys in a foil tray in the oven smothered in a bottle of sweet baby rays sauce GOD DAMN THEY TASTE GOOD.

Whole pig for the umu. Stuff the belly with hot rocks. Drink with enough kava to make the whites of your eyes turn yellow.  8)

I will make spare ribs but never in the oven. I have a smoker and can make them bbq over hickory, without that good smokey flavor they just aren`t any good. I am pretty picky about bbq, most folks have never tasted food prepared in a real smoker because it is expensive and time consuming to cook that way.
