the reason is he paid somone to tell him what to do, as he was too stoooopid to work it out himself, unlike yates, kev lev, shean ray, nassoil etc

Not really he beat Flex in 96, beat most in 97, beat Levrone in 98, looked pretty outrageous at Mr.O 96, just needed to drop all the water and hold fullness

kev and shawn had help in the start of their careers.. help turning pro.

everybody knows how to train hard, but not everybody understands how the chemicals work, no matter how much research some people do, they'll never understand.

I remember an interview with Ronnie, shawn, and flex.. and Ronnie was talking about how flex gave him some 'hints' on what to be doing.. Ronnie told flex what he was doing and flex was like 'nah dude, you gotta do this, and this, and that' and later that year Ronnie took 2nd to flex and beat flex in the next show (or vice versa.. I dunno), and soon after he took the NOC looking fucking great, and then the MrO.

I still think Ronnie's NOC win was the best NOC win I've ever seen.

the majority of the top tier guys at that time had chad helping them.at the 98 Olympia chad was workin with flkex,nasser,cormier and Ronnie.

Heath has never had that level of hardness to his muscle, that "real" muscle look that Ronnie has.

rhonnie couldnt make the top 6 mr O until yates retired, he looked like a very average pro until then, he jumped a good few places in that year

as far as i know, non of the top 6 ers from early 90's had guru's.... only later in there careers

Doesn't matter he officially placed 6th and received the appropriate cash reward. He was 9th the next year because he came in to heavy ( 255lbs ) and his conditioning suffered for it. 1998 he dropped weight completely leaned out and came in at 249lbs

my point is he was an average pro until he paid for advices, end of  97 leading into 98... until then he wasnt considered in the same league as yates, nassoil, ray, lev, dillet, wheeler...

Ronnie told the story about how he woke up so dehydrated the morning of the O in 98
that he decided to go to the hospital as he was sure he was dying. Called Chad and Chad said,
"no don't do that". Had he gone to the hospital he wouldn't have won the first title and everything could have been very different. Or he could have had real bad luck and died that day. But he drank a gallon of water and made it.

Pure chance decides many things.
