Does deca really improve immune function?
« on: November 10, 2013, 04:06:03 PM »
Keep hearing how deca improves the immune system, also by increasing cd8 cells etc, but has anyone ever experienced this?  Ie not ever getting sick while running deca?

My recovery is through the roof when I cruise with deca and blast with sweet potatoes.

Seriously though it's awesome.

I got the worst flu of my life on 750 deca.  A brutal 10-day gastrointestinal thing that had me on the toilet 10-20x a day.

Epic sample size, but that's my anecdotal evidence for ya

Not sure if this related or not but a guy I know very well is taking about 700mg/week of Deca (+ the same amount of test) and had an emergency root canal.  Afterwards, though given prescriptions for vicodin, motrin, and amoxicillin, he was pleased to find out there was virtually no pain so he didn't take any of that stuff.

Deca sucks. Well, for me that is. Some people respond well to it and love it. Jus bloat and feeling like ass over here. EQ>Deca

Good for him and point made. Not sure about pain but He should at least have taken the amoxicillin to prevent potential infections. He did not and came out ok.

For me the difference comes down to whether I wanna look dry or not.

Winter time = deca seasons

Summer time = EQ season.

What do you think?

Right on the money. My experience with Deca is never use it in isolation. Always stack with an androgen. Not the case with EQ.

Maybe eventually try it?? I'm a low doser though man....I don't need to go over 1g total EVER. Always test plus 1 other compound is how I operate.

would be nice if that were the case but I really doubt it. Although it can't negatively affect it much or they wouldn't have given it to AIDS patients for so long.

it kept me strong and relatively pain free on my HRT dose (had a script for 200mg week before they killed the Florida clinics) but it always makes me look especially bloofy even in low doses. Something weird happens with my subQ water an in a couple of weeks I literally lose every vein on my body

I dont disagree that deca will build far more size on you than EQ. I usually use something more for the look it gives me, build size easy. Dont wanna weigh 250lbs

Just reading in the clinical trials with deca and HIV patients...   I wouldn't call double blind studies "Kool Aide"...

Increasing CD8 cells could lead to anti viral effects

Takes more than disrupting CD4/CD8  ratio to alter immune function. Deca does nothing to alter viral load. Additionally there is much less information on exactly if it even alters adaptive vs. innate immunity.

You try the Kool-Aide?

Definitely mediated through IGF1 // IGF2. GH is known to stimulate immune function.

Takes more than disrupting cd8 to cd4 ration to alter immune function?  Wow, that's prob the dumbest thing I ever heard!  Tell that to an aids patient!  Dumbass.   Your just pulled a tbomz, you googled something and don't know shit about it.

Good try "doc"

Prob an ER doc, lol. A glorified triage nurse

Cd8 plays a much larger role in immunity than igf!

Take what this "doc" days with a grain of salt
