United States Marines can be magnificent, selfless, incredibly courageous, physically fit beyond comprehension, and a credit to humanity.
However, they can also be their own worst enemies. For just one example of this, see the photographs below.
I find it impossible to believe that in the long time that these logos have been in use that a mass media professional didn’t take someone aside and apprise them of the message that they were sending.
That such advisement was probably ignored writes in the sky in letters a thousand feet high the dichotomy that exists in the United States Marines:
On the one hand are all the truthful and flattering adjectives in the first sentence above.
On the other is the verdammten Scheiß Kopf who designed and approved those logos.
Now it is probable that some will come to the defense of these designs. You are wrong and a verdammten Scheiß Kopf!
