Coincidentally I just tried to find a release date for a DVD/BR this morning (not that I'd buy it, but it would mean a rip would be just around the corner).
Apparently they wanted to put it up on Hulu, but it got canned (or something) - at least according to their FB page.

Maybe somebody with a Facebook account could ask for a DVD release on the official site, since they appear to actually answer there.

People who make films like this should just release it free and sell two 15 second ad spots every ten mins.

Most people would put up with 30 seconds of commercials every ten mins if it was free.

I saw the movie when it cam out in theatres here, it was ok. I probably wouldn't buy the DVD but if it was on Netflix I'd watch it again just to see that troll (Branch) fall off his horse again  ;D

If the guys in the flick looked remotely similar to the guys in Pumping Iron, then it would have been a hit.

No one gives a fuck about bloated, big gutted dudes, running around in thongs, shaking their shredded asses on stage.

because they didn't talk about drugs. The movie was probably nothing more than a compilation of MD "day in the life" videos.

a bodybuilding movie won't sell anymore. the common folk know the secret now (multiple grams of gear, 10s of ius of gh + slin, and the genetics to assimilate it all). When pumping iron came out there was still an allure about bodybuilding.

Also it doesn't help that arnold, serge and lou had more pleasing physiques than the blown up pin cusions of today.

I think an arab one would make a better movie though (with big rami as the main focus, could focus on his chase for the arnold/olympia and also focus on the national level arab bb scene). Them guys have more streamlined physiques and would probably be more open about the aas use which would make it more interesting than the waffle spewed by kai and phillip.

Big Ramy might be the best one for a feature yes. Would be good with someone who shows not all arabs are terrorists....i wonder if people are so rascist against muslims that they would not even give it a shot though?
