Never signed by Weider's group or whoever put it on AMI, so he didn't punk out, just had buyers remorse to the contract and technically didn't have to honor it, would have been nice to see him there though he's been in the best shape of his life lately and could have easily cracked top 5 in top condition....

fair enough.

but he DID tell the magazines and the fans and the boards and the radio show all about his intentions to compete there... and many bought hardcore Lee fans bought tickets or planned vacations based upon this fact. Lee could have been a hell of a surprise in the top 6. Then he pulls out at the last minute, claims it was his plan all along (as he never signed the contract), and breaks his word to his fans.

overload perhaps. he seems a serious trainer without being a total meathead who takes it too seriously. plus hes stronger than me so its something to aspire too....plus he has irish blood in him
