Is it still that way? I heard they had to lighten up some on the abuse.
theyll still lay hands on you if they have to.... we had a kid get headbutted by one of the DIs, he refused to follow orders until he got bis mail and actually knocked the DIs campaign cover off his head..... and he just looked up and down the squad bay and asked
"What happened here? He slipped and fell, didnt he?"
"Yes drill instructor staff sgt cocknballs, the recruit slipped and fell!"
"Thats right, the recruit is a heinous, stupid,clumsy moth*rfucker and he slipped and fell, and none of you saw shit!"
"Aye aye drill instructor staff sgt cocknballs!"
it was pretty great, the kid had it coming. They dont have to use violence to make us miserable, however. They made us all drink canteens until every single recruit puked his guts out a couple times.
