Adults who attend Karate class have issues
« on: November 16, 2013, 11:28:57 AM »
Anybody over the age of 17 who sign up for the dojo have some serious mental problems. What's up with these 30 and 40 somethings who take Karate? Don't they know dojos are glorified day care centers?

Maybe to keep fit rather than beat people up?

Martial arts, if taken seriously, is actually quite the healthy and interesting lifestyle. A lot better than bodybuilding.

In Japan, Okinawa, China, etc, they take that shit deadly serious. Its a way of life.

So whats better:

A) being 30 or 40, overweight, out of shape, and depressed.

OR

B) Maybe take up the martial arts, get in shape, learn self-discipline, etc.

Everyone's a critic  ::) ::)

I like it how the average joe says yeah, i take martial arts cause if someone ever insults or threatens me im going to tell him i dont want any troubles and then if he attacks me im going to dominate him and make "justice" !

Lol 9 times out 10 they keep shuting their mouth, getting harassed just like they were in the past as long as the bully/thug is bigger than them, and one day they find someone who is smaller, drunk, and finally practice some shit move on him and feel like they have finally become men. Until they re secure enough to try that shit on a real oponent, get their asses whooped and then suddenly convert to a peaceful religion or "decide" to focus on something else, like building pyramids with matches.

To be honnest it's only useful to repel a single aggressor but you also better know how to run fast, and for people who work in police, security or military. For most people yeah, it's just a joke. I love the asian or white/black "masters" (bullshiters) , they always make me laugh , they re just running a business and all businesses are based on someone else naivety. Also what is the use of knowing a martial art in a society where physical violence is banned. It is also useless in no go zones, ghettos etc where real thugs , maffia members have guns and knives.

Its because the log on gets banned here rather than the person.
We have someone here who used racist insults and got his log on banned, hell he even admitted it was his log on.

He's still here posting under another account????
Go figure.
