I used to roll with Don and Oleg. I know their game. Both got tapped. Oleg was hard to choke, but would tap to arm locks... Don was not hard to choke... this was 1996... I have some stories but only for private... not public... back in the old day, we did not really like to kiss and tell... I guess more people do it now with social media, etc

back then Don had the better boxing and striking... so was better for NHB and MMA... but Oleg was really good with submission grappling, especially leg subs...

both were judo black belts and don was greco and free, while oleg had the sambo/sombo

but make no mistake... both got tapped in training...

a BJJ practitioner submitting a boxer/wrestler, during practice, when they are not allowed to punch... is not exactly a huge feat
