Ronnie was twice the size? You are a pea-brain. Most of Ronnie's greater weight is in his GH gut, quads, and enormous ass. Even Arnold matches Ronnie in upper body comparisons.

Arnold doesn't match Ronnie because he has no rear delts, triceps too small for biceps, sloping shoulders, comparatively smaller back and small forearms. Ronnie is the most muscular man to ever live.

True; even Oliva didn't have that upper body size. Schwarzenegger great but nowhere near the same upper body volume. Dillet's about the only one in the same sentence.

Haney like Yates is deeply flawed in terms of balance, despite greatness in some areas (both with great torsos & overall muscle quality & dryness).

ill say it again .. dorian in 93 makes coleman look like a watery pissbag!

maybe smaller (only slight) but what dya expect from a previous 'era' ... dorian is shockin even to todays fans !
hence the endless comparisons with the current mr 0 and his grotesque abs that look like a badly pinched loaf !  ;)

dorian rewrote the book .. coleman is merely surfin his wave!

the nazi fuck does make a good point ...

Yates was nowhere near the same size on most of the physique: back, delts, arms & legs. The contrast's made even worse by Yates' relative lack of taper resulting from a much thicker bone structure. The difference in overall volume's ridiculous; Yates's arms were always mediocre.

Better density, dryness and calves sure, but that's not much.

"Being from a previous era" is a copout; they were only a few years apart.. ;)

your last sentence says it all..

Density versus volume

i pick density cause more volume = just intracellular water..

and i dare say it even now..yates back ws wider..

Dorian was drier, but he looked like a dried-up piece of dogpoo. He was denser, but he looked like 10 pounds of fertilizer stuffed into a 5 pound bag. He had the ugliest physique of any Mr. Olympia and was the worst ambassador for bodybuilding.
