Bleeding Gums - what do do?
« on: November 24, 2013, 07:51:26 AM »
My gums have been bleeding again.

I buy a water flosser which shoots water between your teeth because it's supposed to be more effective than regular flossing.. works well...but between doing that twice per day, brushing my teeth twice I day, I cant live like this. In the past I would just use a basic toothbrush and toothpaste in the morning and evening with a bit of mouthwash and was fine.

Must you do this activity twice a day?  Seems like once would be enough.

Baking Soda is good to help the gums just a teaspoon and a little water hold it about 5 minutes.

Gargle a mouthful of urine each morning to eliminate bleeding gums.  This is a bit of a hidden secret, a dentist conspiracy if you will, as they can't make any money from it.  Your urine or anybody elses is fine.  Good Luck!

Well yes you should brush twice a day of course or at a minimum once a day, doing otherwise is simply disgusting, but why the need to floss with the firehose apparatus 2x/day ???

Have you been for a cleaning lately?  Sounds like gingivitis.

Haven't been for a cleaning in two years, I figured I've never had a cavity before I'm sure I can take care of my mouth myself.

Saw something on the news about an outbreak of hepatitis C from a dentist on the news who did not use proper sanitizing methods with his equipment and it scared the shitt out of me.

other causes of bleeding gums include
•periodontitis (an advanced form of gum disease)
•leukemia (cancer of the blood)
•vitamin deficiency

I don't eat many vegetables and do not take a multi vitamin, vitamin K deficiency?

What Radical Plato stated is true.

There have been numerous studies published in the New England Journal of Medicine on urine therapy or Urotherapy.

Now, I recommend using a friends, or a family member perhaps, and mixing it with your own at a 3:1 ratio.
The reason for that is to raise the ph level and lower the acidity. I want you to stop brushing for the next 48 hours and only use urine as a mouthwash/rinse after every meal. Again, do not brush your teeth for AT LEAST 48 hours!!!

You want to gargle and rinse for 2-3 minutes and then you may swallow or choose to spit it out. Do NOT wash your mouth out with water or drink anything (unless it's more urine) for at least 2-3 hours. Let the urine work it's magic. It also kills bacteria in the mouth which will keep your breath smelling clean and fresh.

I also recommend drinking plenty of urine throughout the day as well and applying it to the skin (massage) to experience it's full benefits.

Give it a try.

1. You may be deficient in certain vitamins and minerals.

2. Are you taking any blood thinners like aspirin or NSAIDS?  They have made my gums bleed in the past.

3. Bro science here, but I swear... ephedrine makes my gums sensitive/bleed.

4. Brushing twice a day may be too much.  I brush my teeth every other day (with baking soda) and never had a problem or a cavity in over 25 years.

Dental check? I had bad bleeding gums when I was younger, early 20's. Wrestling around with my son he head butted me in the mouth (he was 3) and knocked one of my teeth loose. I went to dentist and found out I had the onset of periodontal disease where the bone and periodontal ligament holding the teeth in place start to deteriorate. I had surgery to fix this and was good for quite a few years the teeth were strong and held in place.

Then about 3-4 years ago I noticed my front bottoms were getting loose again went to the dentist and again it was the same shit But this time I opted not to have the surgery cause he said he did not think that it wold be as successful. So I lived with it and over time ended up having to get them pulled and a partial put in place. Luckily for me he did an awesome job on the partial and you cannot tell it is even in there. He laughed at me and said you have never had a cavity but now your damn teeth are falling out hahahha!

I did everything to keep mine clean, I brushed, flossed, water picked and still fighting a never ending battle. Eventually I will probably have full dentures ut half my family does..............God Damn Hillbilly genetics  Hahahaha!

skip teeth brushing some days. The gums need to heal.

use mouthwash.

eat more healthy food rich in quality nutrients and vitamins.

When it disappears, stats brushing your gums gently each day.

Fuck that water pick. Just do this:
1.) Brush 2x a day.
2.) floss daily preferably at night
3.) use Colgate peroxyl after you floss
4.) use ACT mouth wash it the morning
Try this for 2-3 weeks, if you still have bleeding gums make a dentist appointment. Because it is something more serious.
