Haven't watched the episode yet (going to train back shortly - bodybuilding related) but they'll bring him back - if you look on the Wikipedia page of future Family Guy episodes there's a few with Brian listed in the title.

Brian's the one who should have had a spin off. Cleveland is a joke.

Worst character in the show by far. I hope he stays dead.

Next they need to kill off Roger in American Dad and I can fully enjoy both shows.

If they kill of Roger, then who will push the Hierarchy's gay agenda?

I'm more worried about what this says about the shows creator, is he running dry?

Brian will be back, but why the need for such a lame publicity move for the press and the net?

He will appear again in the shower, just like that one time when Bobby Ewing came back because it was all a dream.

it sure worked... people that haven't talked about the show in years are talking about it today...  My mom brought it up lol, I had to laugh... seth mcfarlane is a smart dude, it worked!

He can use any number of storylines to bring him back, but wow, the show is suddenly quite relevant again.

seth is so tired of making the show that he tried to kill off brian so that people would stop watching and he can stop making it..... dudes frustrated doing the same thing over and over.

Seth McFarlan did a lot of the voices on the show including Brian.  Maybe he is limiting the characters he does so he can have some time back to work on other things.  The Brian character was annoying and some of the shows I hated the most were the Brian and Stewie shows.

I remember that one that started with Peter telling the audience that the episode was based on Meg so he suggests we turn the TV to something more entertaining.  lol

I can relate to such moves.

Think it's the opposite, trying to get people to start talking about it again, and boost back up the ratings!

the brian and stewie episodes are always the best though. they should do a spinoff show and kill family guy off completely
