I'm a big fan of the Ranger Rover Sport, especially compared to what I take to be the most appropriate American car for comparison, the Cadillac Escalade. Then again, I'm not thinking solely about looks.

BTW question for conoisseurs, what is best, a chevrolet s10 or a toyota ranger -both short bed and 2003-  in terms of fuel consumption reliability etc?

I would say it is pretty close but neither one can beat German cars. If judging sports cars only Italians are hard to beat.

weve made some truly beautiful cars he in the uk and the E type is probably the best looking car of all time but as a whole I think  the above statement to spot on.
the mustangs, firebirds, chevelles, gto's, chargers, so on and so forth in all their guises from this period are better looking than what we were producing here in the uk.  I have a book of old Black and White photos from the 50s and 60s and 70s of American cars that were photographed on the streets of London in the 60s and to say they out shone the cars we had in at that here at that time is an under statement.
I might be a tad biased as I own a 70 firebird.
