thats actually pretty interesting, I'm fascinated by the theory that jesus(actual dude) was a bhuddist cynic and this makes it much more likely.

That the missing years of Jesus were possibly spent in India or elsewhere learning dharma.

I donno I doubt he went far into asia, but I think it's likely that along with the greek cynics he's was exposed to Buddhist traders. This theory only makes sense if buddhism was more widespread than previously thought, which is a real possibility if buddhism had an earlier start than predicted.

Lest we forget, the Hebrews (real ones) had their own traditions of esoteric mysticism Jesus could have drawn from.

There is a high probability that Buddhism was more widespread than people thought.
Hell, they have even found Buddha figurines with Vikings....and this was well after Jesus died, and the Vikings were pagans.

Quite true...little 5'1 Jesus could have grabbing from different religions and regions here and there.

Not to change the subject but the mention of short people and warriots(Vikings) brought back a memory.
I was in a museum once and it had several display cases of armor with little placards with information about who was believe to have owned the armor.  I struck up a conversation with the guide who I was somewhat acquainted with and he was telling me the men wearing the armor were around five feet or slightly taller and some a bit shorter.  Can you imagine witnessing a battle.  It would be like watching children.

Almost...it's like how women's waists were at one time 13 inches...the height that modern man has now can be attributed to the high protein diet. When I visited the Cherokee Reservation in NC, the guide said that it was not uncommon for males to be 6 foot in height---this was due to the high protein diets.

I was watching something on the Vikings and they had a shoe from back then, and the narrator put it to his foot, it was about the same size. The narrator was about 5'10-6 foot.
