I believe she felt Jay was a pretty intelligent guy up until his early 30s. Then we all seen what an attention whore he turned into. Early on Jay would have laughed at guys who walked around in tank tops in the winter and hung out at pool parties all day just to be seen. But Jay turned into that very douche. Here are his own words early in his career. It became pretty obvious that Jay was indeed the fool he spoke of early on...He never took the break from the lifestyle to be normal that he talks about. Wearing a sleeveless suit to a wine tasting event was most likely the last straw with his beautiful wife...

I have (doubtless due to my upbringing!) a  penchant for women of Jewish or Italian (Catholic) descent.  This Kerry fits the bill facially and like you I find her to be very beautiful.
