man porsches with their front gas tank love to get fire. I had a client that crashed a GT and died literarily in flames. If it wasnt because of the fires he would had escaped alive without any scratches at all.

Except the Carrera GT's tank is in the middle. And I know plenty of dudes with 911s who never have had issues with gas tanks catching fire. Know of one guy with a 930 Turbo, and has had it for 20 some years. Porsches---930s, 964, 993, are built like tanks.
Now a car that did have gas tank issues was the Muira...a guy was telling me of a Muira he had when he picked it up from the dock, put gas in it, and later on he was driving it he smelled gas. It had a leaky tank from the factory.

When I had my Lotus Esprit, I had to get both tanks resealed as I smelled gas.  The Dual gas tanks were located right under you and a little bit behind.  It cost quite a bit to have that done since they had to remove a lot of stuff to pull the tanks.  When I picked it up, there were three Ferraris there getting the same thing done.  They said this is the number one cause of fires in all Sports Cars.

can't tell by the photos but was he driving (or the driver that is) too fast on the road and veered off to the right hitting that tree or was the car in that parking lot?... either way if speed and incompetence on the driver's part was the fault... geez.....

if you feel the need to drive waaaaaaaaay over the speed limit 1) make sure you have that ability first of all and 2) make sure your driving i don't know in the mohave desert or some salt flats where there is absolutely nothing around for you to crash into! ...

The guy with the Miura had to take it to a guy in PA who knew how to do rivets, he used to work on airplanes. Apparently the Miura's gas tank was riveted.

Walker as the passenger makes it even more messed up. He could have been telling the guy to slow down for all we know.

As above, if the impact caused the car to literally break in half, then they were long gone and dead on impact.

Replacement parts for a cheap price...kinda like how I and other Skyline owners do when we need OEM parts to fix our cars, or if we see quality aftermarket parts on other totaled GTRs that are still in tact.
