Suspect Arrested in Theft of Porsche Parts After Santa Clarita Collision

The investigation of the traffic collision wherein Paul Walker and Roger Rodas lost their lives on Saturday, November 30, 2013, in the city of Santa Clarita is continuing. Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station traffic investigators are continuing to document the investigation.

At the conclusion of the on-scene traffic investigation the night of November 30th, the wrecked Porsche Carrera GT was loaded onto a contracted flat-bed tow truck to be transported to the impound yard for further investigation. When the tow truck left the scene at about 10:00PM that night, several vehicles followed it eastbound on Newhall Ranch Road.

At one point the driver of the tow truck stopped at the red light E/B Newhall Ranch Road at McBean Parkway. A witness saw a male exit a vehicle that was following the tow truck. The male grabbed a piece of the wrecked Porsche off the tow truck bed. The male drove away with the stolen vehicle part. The tow truck driver reported the theft to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s detectives assigned to the theft case were able to identify a suspect. A search warrant was obtained and a suspect was taken into custody as he was leaving his residence located in Tujunga, Los Angeles County. 18-year old Suspect Jameson Witty was arrested at his residence.

A stolen vehicle part was later recovered by sheriff’s detectives serving a search warrant at a residence in Canyon Country, Los Angeles County. The car part was a red, T-top roof panel to the wrecked 2005 Porsche Carrera GT.

A second suspect in this theft has been identified. The 25-year old suspect is outside the state of California and is in communication with sheriff’s detectives making arrangements to surrender himself.

Suspect Jameson Witty was booked at Santa Clarita Valley Station with bail set at $20,000.00

Paul Walker autopsy report shows nightmarish injuries

After a little over a month following the tragic and horrifying death of Fast and Furious star Paul Walker, the autopsy report has now been released and it shows some unimaginable injuries.

Reports TMZ

Walker’s body was laying supine in the passenger seat in a “pugilistic stance” — that’s a defensive position, as if he were bracing himself for impact.

He had multiple fractures throughout his body, including his jaw, collarbone, left upper arm. There were also various ribs and pelvic fractures.

The report concludes Walker died from “combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries” sustained from the Nov. 30 crash in Santa Clarita, CA.

The report also says that the driver of the car, Roger Rodas, suffered major head trauma with the top portion of his skull fractured and his brain exposed.

It was also determined the car had been going 100 mph.

Paul Walker died as a result of speeding and not mechanical problems.

A source connected with the CHP -- which did the speed analysis -- tells TMZ  ... Roger Rodas, the driver, was going between 80 and 93 MPH when he lost control going around a curve and crashed.

The Associated Press quotes a source from the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. -- the agency that conducted the mechanics analysis -- who says the crash was NOT the result of mechanical failure.  Speed was the trigger for the fatal accident.

Investigators also noted the tires were 9 years old. Shortly after Paul died ... law enforcement sources told us they were the original tires on the car and they had hardened ... which means it lost traction on the road.

This is why you should never trust someone/anyone driving/speeding in a sportscar.

Can't even trust airplane-captains these days, first, you're hovering over Denmark, next, you're lost over the Bermuda-Triangle somewhere.

Never ride with a racecar-driver that wants to show off.

RIP Paul Walker

Paul Walker's Brothers to Fill In for Late Actor in Some Fast & Furious 7 Scenes

Caleb and Cody Walker are joining the Fast & Furious family.

According to a message posted on the Fast & Furious 7 Facebook page , Paul Walker 's two brothers will fill in for the late actor in order to complete some of his unfinished scenes in the upcoming flick, which has finally resumed filming after Paul's death last year .

"The Fast & Furious saga is about family," reads the post. "The characters are connected by the bond of family, and it is how all of us who have worked together for more than thirteen years feel about each other. It certainly defines how we feel about our fans."

"Paul had already shot his dramatic scenes and most of his action for Fast & Furious 7, and it's among the strongest work of his career," it goes on. "We have resumed shooting and now welcome Paul's brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our Fast family. Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production. Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us too."

The message goes on to say that the franchise's seventh installment, and Paul's last, is "the most important we've ever done together. It will allow the character of Brian O'Conner to live on and let us celebrate Paul in his most defining role."

"We wanted to take a moment to speak to our fans directly and thank you for the love and support you always show us as we resume our work," the message concludes.

Fast & Furious 7 resumed filming just last month. The film is set to hit theaters Apr. 15, 2015.
