Why is that offensive? A man can say to his wife "honey, my boss gave me a raise. Suzie and Johnnie start college next year, do you think you could talk to your supervisor about possibly getting a raise yourself? I think you are due for one"

And the only reason why a woman would make disparaging comments about a men in general is if she's bitter. Ugly chicks do it because they aren't physically desirable, and women in business may do it in response to all the men who never took them seriously. I can't stand alpha female managers who feel they have to make a point by abusing their power. Once upon a time I had a manager such as this, turns out I wouldn't roll over. She eventually let me go. My pride and ego wouldn't allow me to lie down as the others in our department had. I was able to act in such a manner because I had no family to support. But my god it felt good to stick it to this girl for months and basically do anything I could to piss her off and demean her power.

Lately a few women are getting celebrated for their books on how women need to be stronger in the workplace and knock men down a level.  If I wrote a book saying that men need to fight harder and not let women in the workplace move up I would be fucking lynched.  Shit is just stupid.

Yeah, I had a woman boss like this once.   It made me really not care for woman managers. Women really are wonderful, but they are naturally somewhat devious, fickle, moody, inconsistent, petty and vindictive.  Men are much more likely to be direct, clear, and fair (although this certainly is not universal).
