these guy are smart. they recognise a niche and compete in it. they are prolly cognisant of the risks of bbing, and have found a way to rewarded for their efforts in the gym via competition.

I gotta give them props. they work as hard as any bber. everyone uses at every level so that's neither here nor there. plus they 'fit' into that look. it suits them. they recognise this and exploit it.

guys like me, big ro are just not meant for physique. we don't fit that niche. there's no room in that for 6'2 guys who weigh 240+. unless they come out with another hybrid class that's slightly bigger than physique that rewards good lines and quality builds then I'm happy just to go to the gym and grind it out cause bbing isn't my deal.

like I said gotta give these guys props. they look awesome train and diet hard and fill that look and niche well.

I give these guys props for looking like real bodybuilders, period.

It's a damn shame that there has to be sub catagories like "physique" or "muscle model". That should just be the bodybuilding standard, regardless of whether you're 5'2", or 6'2". It was hard to tell Danny Padilla's height unless he was standing next to taller guys. It's all about proportion. One can still be big and ripped without having a bloated insulin belly. The pros of the '90's proved that. The vacuum pose should become mandatory. I don't think 99.9 percent of current IFBB pros are even capable of executing it. I bet any of these guys can though. That should be the standard that bodybuilding should be judged by. Hopefully the pendulum will start to swing the other way.

Not commenting on the gay aspect, which is obvious...  ;D

But as far as bodybuilding goes, their shape and proportion, especially having a flat stomach and displaying piano key serratus and intercostals, should be the standard. And that standard can be maintained with considerably more size and density, without sacrificing lines and proportion. Again, the pros of the '90's demonstrated that perfectly.

Ifbb physique is a joke compared to this. Gotta feel for those guys wearing board shorts. :D
It will be much more popular once those morons from ifbb change the rules and follow the WBFF version.

Basically ifbb needs to up the homo quotient.

good for him. But think of the irony. The man who is known for being probably the most "aesthetic" mass monster developing a Division which features less on mass and more on aesthetics.
