Yes USA came off worst - they've also got the most travelling to do out of all the competing nations - 9000km in total just for their three group games.

France are going to be laughing all the way to the last 16 - easy group for them. England have a reasonably tough one but should scrape through.

Group B is also tough - Chile are no slouches and Spain and Netherlands should play out a good game.

It's hard to see Brazil not winning. Argentina will get closest but with the ridiculously humid conditions in some of the stadia the European teams will gas out.

This is the weakest Dutch team we've had since the mid '80s. It won't surprise me if they're out after 3 matches.
