What's the attraction to Scientology?
« on: December 06, 2013, 10:43:46 AM »
I've read about it online and it sounds very odd.  Sure all religions are fictitious but this one is just out there, but it seems to have a HUGE following, especially by the Hollywood elite.  is there something to it?

Doesn't sound any more ridiculous than an ark full of animals, the earth stopped rotation so one side could win a battle, a man walked on water, etc etc. Just a different version of the same thing. I get a kick out of one religion bashing another religion...The Christians scoff at the Mormons, the Jews scoff at the Christians.. The Muslims scoff at educated women, oh wait. got off track there..

Exactly. Mentally weak and/or foolish folks fall prey to all sorts of wacko stuff. Scientology is completely idiotic, but in the grand scheme of (religious) things, any and all are insane.

I knew a girl who was into it once and she had humongous teats so maybe that is a factor.

Showing interest makes Hollywood producers easier to bed, leading to better roles in movies ;)

The attraction is caused by the thetans, who have undergone a traumatic experience when Xenu flew them all to the earth in DC-8 space planes, stuffed then in volcanoes and exploded them. The e-meter proves all this!
