that bout was insane. copout decision I think. doesn't do either fighter justice.

Silva shoulda kept going with the low kicks, coulda stopped the fight with them.

and he shoulda used the elbows in tight like Hunt. I think the fight would have been a lot more one sided in foot's favor

I think hunt won that 3 rounds to 2 plus scored a knock down, if they are using boxing scoring system so how's that a draw.

That fight was amazing. Couldn't believe Silva was still standing. Hunt hits a ton, and he was connecting repeatedly.

I was in the third row. Have been going to the fights one way or another since I was 15. I gotta say this was the best fight I have ever witnessed. They didn't stop, the ref let it go and it was a bloodbath. Two tough, ugly fuckers bashing each other for five rounds. It was a fitting draw in the end. The atmosphere was insane!

Even the undercard fights were pretty good but HUnt vs Bigfoot was incredible. Standing ovation all round. Great day!

Agreed, The referee time-out in the fifth was an injustice, just when Mark had a ton of momentum landing big blow after big blow and bighead was out on his feet , I am sure Mark was just about to finish the fight. Then the referee steps in, gives bighead a timeout long enough to fit another training camp into and that was all bighead needed to get a second wind. Ripped off. Great fight though.

Agreed re last round stoppage but you could argue that when BigJaw was on top of Hunt doublefist hammering his face that the ref might have stopped it and didn't. The whole crowd was screaming, "Let it go - Dont stop it" I think the ref was too scared to do it. I don't like draws in anything but the fight was that fucking good that no one there cared. The atmosphere was like a grand final.

What is Pat Barry doing? You can clearly see him looking over at his opponent. He looks fine, and then all of a sudden goes into a wobbly tumble. Was that his message to people that it was a fixed fight?

It seemed that he took a beating and got up too quick, he should have lay there for another minute but jumped up as quick as he could. At the show it looked like he didn't want Soa to think he had hurt him, then down he went.

I saw a guy do exactly the same think last week. He had come off his motorcycle and landed on his head. When he came to, he just wanted to get up as fast as he could. Walked about 10 steps then buckled just like Pat did.
