I get sent to do some work in high schools occasionally and my observations yield the following:
-9/10 female teachers in their 20s,30s,and 40s dress K-Mart fashion conscious and select clothing that isn't quite inappropriate but is still a little tighter or more revealing than it should be. Just a little bit suggestive.
-1 on 1 discussions with male students tend to be prolonged, with the student clearly ready to move along, and interactions generally follow the question-student reply-teasing disapproval response-mutual giggle pattern, which then repeats. The teacher will open the conversation with a general query about how it's all going, and following questions don't focus on any particular topic, jumping from school subjects to sports to pop culture. The conversation seems to serve no purpose.
-Female teacher interactions with groups of male students are fewer in number, tend to be brief and formal compared to 1 on 1 conversations, and are usually of the disciplinary get-to-class variety.
-Opposite sex interactions are far fewer in number and have school oriented content and clear purpose.
-They seem to enjoy putting on a sort of matronly thing, and I've seen 'em really revel in it. It's always with the opposite sex.
Witnessing some of this stuff as an adult is cringeworthy. There are some weird people working in schools. It's not surprising that a certain percentage of people who display this behavior would have sex with a kid.
