Pagani Zonda Revolution. Sonds almost like an F1.

The Zonda Revolucion is strictly limited to 5 models and with a carbon-titanium central monocoque the needle on the scale stops at 1070kg. The AMG Mercedes engine is an evolution of the Zonda R powerplant. The 6.0-liter V12 now develops an output of 800 hp and 730 Nm of torque, resulting in a power to weight ratio of 748 hp per tonne.

This footage of the Revolucion testing was provided to Shmee150 by Terence Olenroot & Leonardo Bonafini. The car costs €2.2m plus taxes and this one is finished in naked blue carbon fibre with black wheels. It is still covered in protective film before being delivered to the customer.

those "kids" are the most skilled drivers in the world driving the most expensive race cars in the world. it costs millions of dollars to fund a race team and the teams MAKE millions of dollars, without the driver, the teams don't win. no wins = no sponsors. the drivers BRING in sponsors because of #1 Skill and #2 their marketability... they deserve every fuckiing penny they get.

While I am a F1 fan, I'd say their driver's skill set is about equal with WRC drivers.

I stopped following F-1 closely after the late 90s but the F1 drivers of today do seem to act like kids compared to the F1 drivers of 20-30 years ago. At least some guys like Webber and Vettel for example seem to break from the mold.

As for overpaid, definitely not, when compared to some other "athletes" who somehow "deserve" all the money because they're in a popular sport.
