Are some of you guys saying that babies being born by moms who used crack/coke/heroin or booze all the way through their pregnancy won't have any dependency issues toward these substances because there is no such thing as dependency?

Methadone, if it's consumed in high enough doses for a long enough period can cause death during withdrawl.  There are quite a few reported cases of such incidents, usually in jail.  It is uncommon, but it does happen.

I know a guy on methadone at about 60 mgs...He is a major asshole...I have not talked to him in a while, he may have increased...He was all warm and fuzzy at first in interaction with everyone till he got use to it...Now he is back to being just an ass...What his doctor does not know was that methadone was his DOC in the first place...
