outside of jds and cain though who in hw division is elite? Hes beaten werdum

Barnett is an elite , but had bad showing against Cormier. He'll beat Junior imo.. Just not sure about Cain.

Besides the bad cardio, the Reem also has a glass chin. Not a good combo. He has to lower his drug usage because of a failed drug test with the UFC. If he can't over power an opponent in the first round or beginning of the second he is in trouble. Big trouble.

My question is:

"Is he another Mike Tyson? Destroying second hand fighters but getting his ass handed by the elite?"
Great quote! :D

He tried talking to me for months and I would ignore him.  Then he accused me of having zero sex drive and being too hot for him.  He said what made it worse was that I had a beautiful man trying to get to know me and i wasn't interested.

Can we get back to our kneeger Overeem?

Man, I almost forgot how crazy his highlight reels were. Although he shit the bed and lost some stupid fights, he was amazing in his prime.

Sad thing is that even with all the gear, he's not the same fighter anymore. I don't think he'd ever be close to where he was. Sad but true. I was a big fan but it sucks to see that his heart for combative sports is gone.

I like Alistair's personality better than Mir's

I think that both are well spoken.

Im rooting for Alistair in this fight.

I'm a rematch he would kill Bigfoot, he was easily controlling that fight untill he started acting cocky. Glass jaw comments are a little silly I've seen him take some big shots in k1. If a 270pound guy catches anybody blind they will go down.

Agreed. It baffles me though. He just stopped and started getting pounded and ko'd. I see him as the best striker, one of the most imposing physically, great ground game, excellent footwork, hardest hitter, what gives?  ???

Seriously this stuff still goes on sev. Boxing more notorious for it but I think it exists in MMA/UFC. Say a person gets offered $20K to lose but would only get $10K to win from a promoter what would most do.

I am 100% positive fights get fixed. Why though? I mean he was cleaning house. The travis fight he took a silly shot from an awkward striker. And this is a guy who ran through the BEST K1 strikers. I don't get it.

Bas Rutten said that Alistair has always had a weak chin.

Bas said that Alistair has been dropping his hands WAY too much lately (since he came to the UFC).

Alistair always kept his hands up in K-1 events

I agree. In K1 his hands were waay up. In UFC he drops them lower. So what is it? Bad tactics? Does not follow the game plan?

Whatțs your take on this che? Arce?

He doesn't recover from bigger shots like many of the other heavyweights do. Then he is a sitting duck. Even when he was 205, and got hit by sub 200 lbs guys his jaw was glass. In the Bigfoot fight he dominated the first 2 rounds, but took a couple of shots later in the 2nd round. By the start of the thrid round he was a sitting duck with his arms down. He just stood in front of Bigfoot, got caught with some moderate uppercuts, didn't clinch, couldn't recover.

The Reem would not take a dive. His brand is very popular, he makes good endorsement and seminar money. The two losses to average heavyweights have taken him off the elite list, and back to the ham and eggers. He was destroying Travis and Bigfoot easily, but in both cases he stood right in front of them with his hands down, and he was tired. No footwork, no defense.
