Seems like the bodybuilding will -- literally and figuratively -- die off leaving the physique stuff behind. Which is ironic since physique competitors look like BB'ers from the 60's and 70's. BB'ing really committed suicide with the bloated 5-7" 280 pound Palumbo'd GH gut being the new "ideal"  :-X

It will not die, as old homosexual schmoes and weirdos will always catter to it,  it will always be a niche for rich perverted homos. Oh wait... it has always been the same. Nothing new. As long as there are homos and insecure kids wanting shortcuts and who have no decent father guidance it will keep going on.

Bodybuilding isnt dying, some bodybuilders are dying. But there are and will always be younger morons taking the exact same path over and over again thinking they re smarter than everyone else and committing the same sins over and over again. There were steroids users dying in the 70s, 80s,90s, didnt prevent anyone in the 2000s from doing the exact same shit and even worse. Most people never learn, there s a new sucker born every minute and there s always someone (uneducated) thinking he knows it better than everyone else and will end just like all of them. Go in any gym anywhere, and there are teens in their 14/15/16s who are the next victims, they log on bodybuilding websites fantasizes on steroid users and want to model their lives after theirs, thinking that's living the life. It will keep going on.

Bodybuilding = extremistic destructive behavior involving drugs vanity insecurity shortness homosexuality , lack of father guidance. Period.

Physical conditioning = eating, living healthy, training with weights, doing cardio and sports in balance with a fulfiled life, which allows you to last longer in better shape/better health, have better sex better self esteem and is mainly for smart heterosexuals with a family and real jobs. And no crossfit is not "physical conditioning", its just another corrupted interpretation of it and is also strongly homosexual in many ways.

As simple as that.

Good post.

Bodybuilding v Physical conditioning. I'm trying to go from the former to the latter but it's not easy. The drugs are no longer there, I've never competed, but taking your mind away from all the body insecurities is the hardest thing by a long long way.
