and it might be for the better...then there will be a real meaning of "curls for the girls"

Hi Chris Jones :D

But in all seriousness, I'm tired of this fundamentalist "it should be this and only this" sentiment. I believe that variety is a good thing, so let there be a stage for every kind of physique, from 150 pound 'twinkies' to 300 pound mass monsters, for men, women, kids, mixed/gay pairs, mentally/physically disabled people, etc...

Why the sudden urgency to "save" it all of a sudden?
No doubt about it...

Bodybuilding Judging Criteria maybe can like this:

Round 1, Physique 70% ( muscularity 50%, aesthetics 50%)

Round 2, Stage Presentation 30%( Evening wear, is required to wear formal attire. Jeans and a t-shirt are unacceptable)

If there were more naturals like musclecenter, we could have had bbing as a Olympic Sport.

The problem with those criteria is that they always by comparison. Phil Heath can be considered very aesthetical compared to Kai Greene, but not aesthetical per se , or as we perceive how aesthetics should be.

There will be a sigarette, cigar, pipe and joint smoking class. The crack smoking class is on its way to accreditation.

didn't know the sport was dying, the Olympia was pretty good this year, could have been better if everyone would have came in top shape, only problem I see is competitors noit building a solid base before ramping up the drugs and that will change once someone takes the time to do so.

And a mandatory dope test.

Pass or fail do not matter though. Just for the public

Considering this year was one of the highest attended Mr Olympias in history-I would have to say that bbing is fine-and the mens bikini was at the expo on a side stage were it belongs and hardly anyone watched them do there exciting 1/4 turns that had the spectators on the edge of there seats. ::)
Men Physique is not taking over anything....its boring and you can attain a body like that so easily theres no challenge-bottom line-people want to see the freaks not a average physique that you can see at any beach or high school..lol

So someone is a schmoe by default, if he/she appreciates modern bodybuilding?
