Honestly, I didn't give a single solitary fuck for any of them. I'm so totally indifferent, I even surprised myself.

Last Saturday, they brought a dog into the rescue centre I volunteer. Some yob thought it was good sport to shoot the poor thing with an air rifle to the spine. To me, that was upsetting.

Reading on the internet about a loser who killed himself with drugs and another who caught HIV is so abstract it may as well have happened in another planet.
