Best way to sleep? (North, south?)
« on: December 11, 2013, 02:15:53 PM »
Our planet is on some big magnetic field, right?  I keep reading conflicting articles on which direction we should have our heads pointing in order to get the best REM sleep, etc.

What do the brilliant minds on getbig say?  Just sleep however?  Or have you seen actual benefits from sleeping one way or another?

Facing North can cause serious eye problems.

You should always sleep with your feet facing the door and your pistol within arm's reach.
Didn't your dads teach you guys anything.

I moved my bed to the northern most section of my room and face north. Since then my morning wood has become more consistent.

A pistol should only be used to get to a long gun.

A door should only be used when there is no 1000-pound stone available to block entrance.

A bed should only be used when no underground sleeping vault is available.

In Yoga/Indian thinking they say top of the head should be south, east or south east but never west or north. I sleep with my head to the east.

Sleeping on your right side is best; bloodflow to the liver. I don't know about compass stuff..

Always face where the sun rises when sleeping. That way you will rise with the sun. If you face towards where the sun sets you may die in your sleep.

True Tongan witch doctor belief.

Head north, feet south. Animals naturally lie asleep the same.

having some young hot slut curdled up next you always makes sleeping more fun.  Trying explaining that to the wife the next time she asked why you didn't sleep well.

or tell her that visions of this video keeps you awake

Yeah, but all the problems and bullshit they cause me during waking hours makes actual sleeping near impossible.  What a conundrum.  I refuse to go the homosex direction, so I guess I'll deal with it the old fashioned way:  drugs  ;D

Now that man has a head of hair that Halo should aspire to get.  that and a mutated prostate gland.  Both things that Halo seems to focus on with his massive doses of finasteride.
